My 70 pound weight loss story
I became interested in weight loss and obesity-related issues when, after the birth of my 4th child. I realized I needed to lose 70 pounds or risk type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
I was scared and frustrated that I couldn’t fit into my clothes—no matter what I did.
As we all know, losing weight isn’t easy; maintaining weight loss is even more difficult.
I discovered the secret to eating foods I loved and never feeling deprived. I learned a few food swaps that helped me lose almost 50 pounds and 11% body fat. I also discovered how to maintain that weight loss as I grow older and my metabolism slows down. And I learned how to do it all on a budget!
After resolving my own weight loss struggles, I’ve worked with countless of clients who have come to me after having tried everything to lose weight.
Now, I love teaching others how they can muddle through the myriad amounts of nutritional information to find the best fit for them.
